About

Nora

She/Her

After achieving my BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Affective Disorders, I earned a Post-graduate Diploma in Counselling and became a qualified Counsellor and a member of the BACP.

I am passionate about helping individuals tap-into their innate potential, develop their sense of self, and provide them with the tools to get to know who they are with curious compassion.

I believe in a humanistic model to therapy which considers mental, physical and emotional needs.

I specialise in anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, identity, bereavement, loss, suicidal ideation, self-harm, work-related issues, and mother-daughter relationships. This is especially within the remits of multicultural backgrounds, generational expectations and coping with the pressures of today’s society.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience working with the NHS, Cruse Bereavement Care, Marie Curie Hospice as well as Higher Education Institutions across the UK as a Wellbeing Officer and Counsellor to students of all ages.

Whilst I do spend my time supporting others in pain or distress, I feel genuinely honoured and privileged to share this space with the truly wonderful people I have supported throughout the years. I appreciate how overwhelming it can feel to make the first step towards counselling, so please do take your time. I would be happy to have a chat, test our chemistry and answer any questions you might have to see if I might be the right counsellor for you.
